The training took place from 17/10/2021 to 22/10/2021 in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The training course was organised by GEORGIAN SPELEOLOGISTS UNION, in cooperation with Green Cross Society, Ecological Counseling Center Cahul, arco Erlebnispädagogik e.V..
A training course is a project where youth workers and youth leaders come together for several days to develop their knowledge, skills, and attitudes on a certain theme. The daily programme of the course is based on learning objectives and facilitated by experienced trainers. The training courses promote the initiative and creativity of participants and have a direct impact on their future youth work or youth policy activities, such as organising quality projects and providing intercultural and non-formal learning experiences for young people.
Altogether, 26 people from Georgia, Germany, Moldova, and Ukraine took part in the training course.
Main contents and activities of the training:
- Tourism as a form of entrepreneurship;
- Business plan and Marketing tools on the rural tourism sector.
- How to analyze the market? How to identify the competition? Selection of the target group. Sale of the rural tourism proposal;
- Promotion of rural tourism activities (incl. via the internet);
- Ability to communicate with clients, Correct speech requirements concerning the customers with disabilities;
- Organization of practical training on hosting of customers with disabilities;
- Relations between a host and a guest when one of them or both are with disabilities
The training was held according to the project Entrepreneurship in rural tourism sector for youth with disabilities 2 / ERTSYD2 (Entrepreneurship in rural tourism for young people with disabilities 2) 608832-EPP-1-2019-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBY-EP-PE, which is implemented within the framework of the European Union program: Erasmus + "Capacity Building in the field of youth - Eastern Partnership - Partnership for Entrepreneurship".
